Your Seas Your Voice - the campaign to safeguard our seas
The success of our campaigns for UK and Scottish Marine Acts means that the creation of a network of
Marine Protected Areas in UK seas is now possible. There has never been a better time to safeguard our seas.
You can make a difference!
Voting is now closed on Your Seas Your Voice, but we will need all the help we can get to keep the pressure on government to designate a network of MCZs so please sign up for updates at MCS's Marine Protected Areas website and we'll let you know how you can help make a difference.
Paying the price for convenience - wet wipes on beaches rise by over 50%
Volunteers at last September's Great British Beach Clean found piles of wet wipes littering our beaches. Often thought to be flushable, these little squares can last for years in the marine environment. Our full report on the findings are published today.
Join our campaign to be a natural scrubber
Today, along with Fauna and Flora international, we want you to join our campaign waging war on the microbead. Pledge to stop using face scrubs, shower gels and toothpastes that contain hundreds of plastic bits – microbeads are turning our seas into a plastic soup.

Have your say on how watercourses will be managed in England and Wales in years to come.
