MCS recommended sites in North East England
Thank you to everyone who voted on sites in England. Over 70% of votes were in favour of full protection, and over 97% (27 of 28 MCS recommended sites) will receive some form of protection in the proposed network. But sadly, less than 1% (2 sites) of Your Seas Your Voice in England are proposed to have full protection. We have passed details of your votes and comments to the Regional MCZ projects.

North East England
This region may not have the variety of the south, but the northeast is full of surprises. The size and density of beautiful stalked plumose anemones and the aptly named 'deadmens fingers' on the inshore reefs is unique.
