South East England
Where the cold water of the North Sea meets the warmer water of the western channel, marine life thrives. Plants and animals enthusiastically colonise the numerous wrecks which provide a welcome hard surface to attach to in a sandy environment. This is a great region to see the intricate reef communities built by the humble honeycomb worm.
